What does the pickup window mean? Will the courier wait the whole time?

The pickup window is the time range during which our courier arrives — not a period we wait on site. - Same Day: You choose a 2-hour window (e.g., 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM). The courier arrives at some point within that window. - Scheduled: You choose a 3-hour window. The courier arrives at some point within that window. - Express Delivery: You choose an exact pickup time. The courier arrives at that time. Important: Your package must be ready at the START of your pickup window. The 2-hour (Same Day) or 3-hour (Scheduled) window does NOT mean our driver will spend that time waiting — it simply means the courier will arrive at some point during it. You or someone on your behalf must be available to hand over the package for the entire window. Our couriers wait up to 15 minutes free of charge after arriving. If the package still isn't ready or no one is available after that, the pickup is marked as failed and the full delivery fee is charged — see "What happens if a pickup or delivery fails?" under Cancellations & Refunds. Our courier may call or text the pickup contact number before arriving, but you should be prepared to hand over the package for the entire window — do not rely on a call ahead.

My delivery has an estimated time — will the driver arrive exactly then?

The estimated delivery time we show is our best estimate, not a guaranteed arrival. Our drivers try to get packages to recipients as quickly as possible — which means your delivery may arrive well before the estimated time shown. If you (or the recipient) will not be available to receive the package for the entire estimated window, you must arrange coverage while scheduling the delivery — for example: - Have someone else on site to accept it - Provide buzzer/concierge/access details in the special instructions - Choose photo proof of delivery so the courier can leave the package safely - Select "Signature on delivery" only if you are confident someone will be there If no one is available when the courier arrives and the package cannot be left safely, the delivery may be marked as failed and the full delivery fee is still charged. Please plan ahead when booking.

What is your waiting time policy?

Can I schedule deliveries for future dates?

Yes! Yes! With our Express Delivery service, you choose the exact pickup time and our driver arrives at that time. How do I place a rush order?

To place a rush order: 1. Go to our booking page 2. Select "Express Delivery" as your service type 3. Choose your preferred pickup time 4. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards and debit cards through our secure online payment system. Please note, we do not accept cash.

Do you save my card for future charges?

Yes. To make things faster and to collect fees that may come up after your delivery, we securely save your card with our payment processor (Stripe) when you check out. We may charge that saved card automatically, without you entering your details again, for: - Waiting fees (if the courier waits longer than the free 15 minutes) - Price adjustments or additional services you approve - Business Account invoice payments initiated from your dashboard You will always be notified by email when an off-session charge is made. Does the quoted price include tax?

Prices shown on our quote tool and booking page are displayed before tax. Ontario HST (13%) is added at checkout and shown clearly on your final receipt and invoices. The total you pay — including the delivery fee, any surcharges, and HST — is confirmed before you submit payment. No hidden charges.

Are there any additional fees I should know about?

We aim to be transparent about all fees: - Rush Hour Surcharge (+$15): Applies to orders during peak traffic hours (7:00-9:30 AM and 2:30-5:45 PM) to account for increased delivery times - Weekend Surcharge (+$10): Applies to Saturday and Sunday orders - Holiday Surcharge (+$15): Applies to Ontario statutory holidays When multiple surcharges apply (e.g., rush hour + weekend), only the single highest surcharge is added — we never stack them on top of each other. For deliveries beyond 100 KM, Express Delivery is a premium, dedicated service — not a shared or routed delivery. Here is what you are paying for: - A dedicated driver assigned exclusively to your delivery — no other stops, no shared route - Direct, non-stop drive from your pickup location straight to the drop-off - Same-day, on-demand priority — your package doesn't sit in a warehouse waiting for the next route This is the real cost of operating a dedicated, same-day, long-distance delivery. If your delivery isn't urgent or the distance is very long, a Scheduled delivery (where the package moves along the courier's route) may be a more cost-effective option — though it is not available beyond 50 KM. How does weight and item pricing work?

Our pricing is designed to be fair and transparent — you're never double-charged for the same pounds. - Each item includes 15 lbs of weight allowance (5 lbs for legal document packages) - If you have multiple items, your free weight allowance scales with the quantity — 6 items get 6 × 15 = 90 lbs included - You only pay extra weight charges for pounds beyond your total included allowance - Additional items beyond the first are charged a flat per-item fee (varies by service type) - Extra distance beyond the included kilometers is charged per km Example: 6 items weighing 180 lbs total — your included allowance is 90 lbs, so you only pay weight charges on the 90 lbs over the allowance, not the full 180 lbs. What is the largest package that can be delivered?

We offer different vehicle types based on your package size: Standard Car (up to 250 lbs) Packages must fit safely within the selected vehicle type.

If my package is picked up earlier, does my delivery time change?

Yes. The "Arrives by" time we quote is based on the latest expected delivery time within your pickup window. If our courier picks up your package earlier in the window — for example, at the earliest pickup time — your delivery will also happen earlier, since the package is already on its way sooner. In other words, an earlier pickup means an earlier delivery. The quoted "Arrives by" time is the latest your package should arrive, not the exact time — so don't be surprised if tracking shows an earlier ETA than originally quoted. We always aim to deliver as quickly and safely as possible.

What if my pickup or delivery is in an apartment or secure building?

If either location is in an apartment, condo, office tower, or any building with controlled access, it's your responsibility to make sure our courier can get in to complete the pickup or delivery. When booking, please include in the Special Instructions: - Buzzer code or intercom unit number - Concierge or security desk location and hours - Building access details (parking, loading dock, which entrance) - A contact on site who can let the courier in If the courier cannot access the building — no buzzer code provided, concierge unavailable, or no one answers — the stop is treated as a failed pickup or failed delivery and the full delivery fee is charged. No, we strictly adhere to local, provincial, and federal laws. We do not transport illegal items, hazardous materials, firearms, live animals, or any other prohibited goods.

Does your delivery service offer proof of delivery?

Yes, we offer optional proof of delivery with photo confirmation and/or signature. You can select these options when booking your delivery. Once delivered, you can view the proof directly in your Dashboard — photos, signatures, and courier notes are displayed right on the order card. No need to contact us or wait for an email.

Do you offer tracking services for deliveries?

Yes! What happens if a pickup or delivery fails?

If our courier arrives within your chosen pickup window (or at your exact time for Express Delivery) and cannot complete the pickup because the package isn't ready, nobody is available, or the location is closed, the order is marked as a failed pickup. Similarly, if the courier cannot complete the delivery because the recipient is unavailable, the location is closed, or the package is refused, the order is marked as a failed delivery. In these cases the full delivery fee is charged and no refund is issued — the courier has already made the trip out to your location. Waiting fees (if any) may also apply on top of the delivery fee. How to avoid a failed pickup: - Have your package ready before your pickup window starts - Make sure someone is available for the entire window to hand over the package - Provide accurate pickup contact details and any access/building instructions in the special instructions field If a delivery fails because the recipient is unavailable, the package may be held at our office for re-attempt or pickup by arrangement. Re-attempt deliveries are not free — a re-attempt fee is charged, calculated based on the distance from our office to the drop-off location (same rate as a new delivery from our office to that address).
